European Youth Chess Championship 2024 commenced in Prague
The 2024 European Youth Chess Championship commenced with the first round yesterday in Prague, Czech Republic. The Opening Ceremony of the event took place on Wednesday, 21st of August, in the evening with the attendance of the ECU President Mr. Zurab Azmaiparashvili, Mayor of the City of Prague Mr. Dr. Bohuslav Svoboda, ECU Secretary General Mr. Theodoros Tsorbatzoglou, President of the Czech Chess Federation Mr. Martin Petr, Tournament Director Mr. Jan Mazuch, and the ECU Tournament Director Mr. Petr Pisk.
