Budapest R5 (women): Mongolia beat the US, Armenia stop China

Saturday’s fifth round at the Women’s Chess Olympiad saw three teams emerge as co-leaders with perfect 10/10 match points, with top seeds India joined by Armenia and Mongolia after stunning upset victories. Armenia overcame what had been a highly dominant Chinese team, while Mongolia (pictured) shocked the United States. Both underdog teams continue to impress as the tournament progresses.
